New York, a city in color
His new exhibition at the Radial Gallery
Architecture, energy, the life of the city that never sleeps.
For his new exhibition at the Radial Contemporary Art Gallery, Marc Van Cauwenbergh immersed himself in the vibrant landscape of New York City, where he lives.
Van Cauwenbergh draws his inspiration from the urban dynamism that surrounds him. Each work is a reflection of the metropolis’s architectural grandeur, an ode to its majestic structures and frenetic pace. With rare skill and sensitivity, Van Cauwenbergh captures the symbiosis between man and concrete, between dreams and buildings that reach for the sky.
His traces, whose rhythm varies, assemble and overlap to compose undefined architectures and landscapes, which we perceive, or wish to see, as being in constant motion.
His pronounced interest in architecture is evident in his creations, transforming each canvas into a window onto “Big Apple”, the city that never sleeps.
We invite you to come and discover the canvases created especially for this exhibition, including magnificent new square formats, totally new for the artist, and to immerse yourself in this unique vision, where art and architecture merge and converse.
